My friend Kirsty and I went for a wee nice day out yesterday. It included photo taking, walking and a trip to the garden centre. I love garden centres. Looking at plants, homeware and then there's the food. This cafe, in the garden centre we go to, was really good. I eyed up all the cakes. This one caught my eye. Chocolate and black-currant sponge. How tasty does it look? They seriously made me want to bake. (I want to bake this weekend.) I always love the look of the cakes but I decided not to go for one. (Don't worry I treated myself to a tray-bake.) This cafe was packed with all the oldie's out for their Sunday lunch which I loved. I think the cakes must be a major attraction, haha. Despite the weather today (rain and clouds), yesterday was actually alright. It wasn't crazy sunshine but still warm enough to sit outside. And because it was a garden centre we were at, it meant we were surrounded by plants and outdoor decor. I had a super tasty toastie with cheese and ploughman's chutney. It was delicious. The toastie was perfectly cooked with the cheese all melted. Yum yum. Kirsty had a tuna sandwich and even though I don't really like tuna, it looked amazing too. I also had a passion-fruit drink that was cold and refreshing for the hot day. After lunch, we went for a short walk around Bowmont Forest. Once again, we were surrounded by greenery. This was where we took some shots for OOTD's. I have already posted a blog-post about my outfit and if you want to see it, click the photo. Yup, it was a lovely day out! Can't wait to see Kirsty again soon. She has a blog too - Monday Project. Go give her some love. Thank you for reading and I will see you tomorrow!
