My first favourites post, and it is the end of May! What? This year is flying in. 2017 just doesn't seem real at all. Soon it will be Christmas (which I love) and we will be shocked that it would soon be 2018. Craaazy. This month has seriously been up and down for me. Moving, making life changes, starting a new job and committing to this blog a lot more. Overall, this month has been stressful and I can only anticipate what June will bring for me. Anyway, this months favourites isn't a lot but I love these items so I thought I would still write a blog post about them. NIVEAOkay, so I love this cream by Nivea. I use it every morning and every night. I have been using this cream for about 3 months on my face and I have noticed a change. My skin is a lot less dry after showers and it feels nourished. This cream is thick but it absorbs into the skin really nicely. And it is pretty darn cheap too. I put about a penny sized amount on my finger then dab it around my face and blend it in. Happy skin days are coming! LITTLE BOOK OF HYGGEDon't worry yourself, it's okay if you can't say the word 'Hygge'. I really struggled too. I looked at it and was like, 'hi-jey' and I can tell you it's probably not pronounced the way you are reading it (unless you already know how to say it, what a clever tots you are eh? Give yourself a pat on the back.) But for those of you who don't know, the word is pronounced like 'hoo-guh'. I know, I was surprised too. The book tells me that 'the word hygge originates from a Norwegian word meaning well-being.' My flatmate got me this book and it shares with you different ways to feel hygge. If you don't know what hygge is, I guess you will have to get the book haha. Hygge is a feeling you get when you feel warm and fuzzy but at peace. An example is when there's a storm outside, but you're sitting all cozy inside with a cuppa. This book retails at £9.99 and if you want to know more, I recommend it. NARS HIGHLIGHTERI have had this highlighter since Christmas when my sister gave it to me as a present. Ever since that day I loved it. It glistens on the skin giving you this amazing glow. The colour I have it in is Albatross and it fits me perfectly. You only need the tiniest bit, like the tiniest dusting, and you are ready to go. If you want to have a look at this highlighter, you can find it here: Nars BARE MINERALSThis BareMinerals dimensional powder trio was another present from my folks at Christmas. I love this wee trio. It has a blush (middle), a highlighter (left) and a bronzed highlighter (right). I use the blush to death. All of these are soft and subtle on the skin but obviously there. It just adds colour to you skin, living you up. If you want to check out this trio, here it is: BareMinerals Those are all my favourites from this month. I hoped you liked learning what I have been loving. If you are a blogger uploading your favourites, drop the link in a comment as I would love to check it out!
Thank you for reading and I will see you tomorrow!
